Benefit and Goal:
Nearly 1 billion people in the world lack access to clean water. This has attributed to over 2 million unsafe drinking water deaths every year, and most are children. Every day, 4,500 children die from water-related illnesses such as diarrhea, malaria, typhoid, cholera, worms, and parasites. Their greatest need is clean water.
Proceeds of this event will help to provide wells for those who have no access to clean water. Our goal of at least 1,500 walkers/runners would provide clean water to 3,000 people. If you want more information on causelife you can go to the website causelife.org.
Last year at the 2nd annual causelife Turkey Trot race we raised over $25,000 to build wells. Register today! This year you can make a difference in the lives of thousands.
