This December, we presented you with a challenge to raise $25,000 for clean water in only 25 days. Those numbers seemed a little daunting at first . . . After all, in order to reach our goal we would need to raise roughly $1,000 a day! But then we thought about the reason we come to work every day . . . the 1 billion people in the world without access to clean water. By choosing a “safe” goal for our time frame we would essentially be preventing clean water from reaching several communities by not even attempting to help them. We couldn’t let that happen.

So, we took a deep breath and dove into our largest Christmas campaign yet, trusting that our supporters would recognize the need and rise to the occasion. And you didn’t disappoint! In just 25 days, causelife raised $30,160, allowing us to impact 6 communities.

As a result of your gifts, thousands of people will not only have access to clean water, but to a brighter future as well. Along with clean water comes health, education, economic opportunities  . . . and hope.

Thanks to your support, the following communities will be transformed by a causelife well:

  1. Guatemala- Santa Cecilia, Estanzuela
  2. India- Tarabha, Sonepur, Odisha
  3. India- Sadique, Firojpur, Firojpur, Panjab
  4. Nepal- Narayanthan
  5. Haiti- Turpin
  6. Kenya- Magale

William C. Clark, an American ecologist and environmental policy analyst, once said, “If tomorrow morning you could make water clean in the world, you would have done, in one fell swoop, the best thing you could have done for improving human health.”

Thank you for doing “the best thing you could have done” this Christmas.

Changing the Present . . . and Building the Future.
